Earl Thomas and the Legion of Boom showed up in dominating fashion on Sunday night, completely shutting down their archrival 49ers in a 29-3 home win before a record 68,338 fans.

ETIII played a big part in keeping San Francisco out of the promised land, notching an interception on the Seattle goal line in the first quarter.

It was a sloppy contest, but the Seahawks leaned on their workhorse running back, Marshawn Lynch, in the fourth quarter to grind out the convincing victory.

Many who picked the Niners were shocked by Seattle’s dominance — but Earl wasn’t surprised in the least.

“Every game we feel like we should dominate, and we did,” Seattle safety Earl Thomas said.

ET posted three tackles along with the interception and the Hawks held the Niners to just 207 total yards, including only 107 through the air.

In the rout of the defending NFC champion, Seattle moved to the top spot of the division literally and figuratively.
