A week removed from its heartbreaking 34-28 defeat to Indianapolis, Seattle suffered a bit of a first-loss hangover.

But despite losing two fumbles and falling behind early to Tennessee, the Seahawks pulled out a 20-13 victory with some formidable play from Earl Thomas and the Legion of Boom.

Seattle’s defensive turned in an outstanding defensive effort, limiting the Titans to just 223 total yards and no offensive touchdowns.

Earl Thomas hauled in an interception in the first quarter and tallied six tackles along the way.

Corner Richard Sherman also added an interception in the final frame to set up a scoring drive that gave Seattle a 10-point lead. As Earl told Seahawks.com:

“We talked about it before the series, because we felt like they were trying to attack the other side. They weren’t going to go at Richard. So I leaned the other way and, boom, he stayed on top and the ball came right to him. Great job by Sherm. Best corner in the league.”

The Seahawks moved to 5-1 and will head back on the road on a short week to take on Arizona Thursday night.
