At 7-1, the Seattle Seahawks were a bit lackadaisical heading into their tilt with 0-7 Tampa Bay — and it nearly cost them.

The Buccaneers built a 21-0 lead in the second quarter, but the Seahawks battled back at home for a 27-24 overtime victory.

Seattle scored the game’s final 20 points, including the game-winning 27-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka.

Afterward, Earl Thomas, who tallied a season-high 12 combined tackles, was glad to be able to move on to the next game.

“I’m kind of (upset),” ET said. “But I’m ready to get back on the field. I’m ready to get back to work. Ready to correct those mistakes.”
