The Seattle Seahawks lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-24 on Sunday and fell to 8-5 on the season. This was a disappointing, close game, and no one was happy about the way it transpired, especially Earl Thomas.

“They had a great game plan. They out-executed us, which can’t happen,” Earl Thomas said. “You’ve gotta take advantage of these things.”

It’s time for the Seahawks to put the tough loss against the Jaguars behind them because there is still a chance for them to win their division and go to the playoffs. After the Los Angeles Rams lost this past weekend, the NFC West is still up for grabs. The Seahawks need to shake off their loss and start preparing for next weekend.

“As long as I’ve been here, I’ve always felt like our backs have been against the wall, and when our backs are against the wall, we play our best. So this is another opportunity to show that, to show who we are, not only as football players but as men. Everything we want to achieve is still right in front of us. We have everything we need to go and do it, so my message to them is to just get back to work.”

It is time for the Seahawks to erase the mistakes and errors from last weekend and take advantage of the huge opportunity that is in front of them. The Rams are a good football team, so the Seahawks have to come out stronger and better from start to finish next weekend.

“We better come with it,” Earl Thomas said. “We better be sharp, our bodies have to be right, we’ve got to be fresh, and we’ve got to fly around and play good football.”

The Seahawks face the Rams this Sunday, December 17 at 1:05pm PT on FOX. Make sure to tune in because first place in NFC West is on the line in this match up.  Also, make sure to vote for Earl Thomas for the 2018 Pro Bowl.
